¹ Reliability check (ZUP) – In § 7 Para. 1 No. 2 LuftSiG, it describes the mandatory check of all employees of a company who have a direct influence on the safety of air traffic due to their work. Contrary to previous legal regulations, the length of service is irrelevant. The check is carried out by the competent authority of a federal state. The aviation security authority can obtain information from the state criminal police and a number of other offices.
